Everybody needs a montage! (as does every body!)

It’s wonderful to think you can just power your way through a few short days, clips of workouts, jogging, chugging protein drinks, and come out the other side transformed into a champion.

If only it were so easy.

Creating a strong, lean, powerful warrior body takes time and discipline.  And it takes proper fueling.

Here are some articles, reviews, and links to various workout styles and programs that I have tried on my own quest.  What are some of your favorites?

STARTING TIPS

WORKOUT PROGRAMS

Level 1 – Newbies New to Exercise

Level 2 – Ready to begin!

  • 10 Minute Trainer – programs are more intense, but they are only 10 minutes!  Then you can mix-and-match as you begin to progress, and make longer sequences
  • Neena And Veena – belly dancing cardio fun on YouTube!

Level 3 – I’m Doing This!

  • 21 Day Fix – 30 minute workouts, and simplified nutrition tools to help keep you on track with fueling
  • Power 90 – 30 minutes workouts for90 days, with modifications for all levels.  Aimed at beginner/intermediate level warriors.
  • Parkour Plan for the Untrained Beginner – a series of youtube videos.  Write down the exercises, then go perform each for 1 minute (if you can) Great all-around workout, and fun PK moves!  I love this set.
  • Billie Blanks Tae Bo youtube channel– it’s oh so totally 90’s, but still a great workout!  I haven’t seen his entire series, but the few I’ve done have been good.
  • Insanity – the harder end of Level 3, it does have a lot of jumping, but you can modify that out if needed

Level 4 – Kickin’ Butt!

Level 5 – Powerful Warrior

  • Body Beast – muscle building focus
  • Insanity: Max30 – intense cardio focus
